I am beginning to learn what those mommy fears are like and they are NOT FUN. It was good to "hear your voice" through your narrative. I miss our talks, and I hope you are all doing well.

RebekahAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17892847918934961398noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5577397302357835606.post-69116550778003801472008-02-21T13:05:00.000-06:002008-02-21T13:05:00.000-06:00OH SHANNON! I know how that feeling all to well!

Actually, when Amber was 7 or 8 months old, I went shopping at the mall with my mother and her two sisters. We were in Clairs when my arms were hurting so bad from holding her I just had to put her down. My mother and her sisters would not help hold her, and I didn't have a stroller with me because they said we would not be gone long enough to need one.....yeah, right!

Anyway, I could not hold her any longer so I put her down in between my feet for only a moments rest. Next thing I know some lady comes walking in the store holding Amber asking if this baby belongs to anyone in the store! My heart FELL! I didn't even know she got away from me! This lady could have taken her and we would have never known! She would have been gone without a trace! So, yeah, I know how that one feels!

It happened again in Target when she was 2, and an undercover security (BIG) man found her and brought her to me! This fella was built like a rock and she was not afraid of him....she just saw me and smiled saying "Hi mommie" while holding his hand!

I have more stories, but I am just thankful God protects us!! Motherhood will age you before ya know it with this stuff alone hahaha!

I died laughing at your Justus story! I enjoy your writing.... I am also impressed because I don't think mine would even know how to do what Justus did at 5 yrs old! Wow!

Well, I love you and miss you greatly! Give the boys a huge hug from me!Rebeccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03975420312035663705noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5577397302357835606.post-8631458816102989652008-02-20T10:33:00.000-06:002008-02-20T10:33:00.000-06:00Thanks, Cameron! Then when I got to the Graham story-oh wow! That is scary but I am so glad he was protected. I can totally see me doing something like that. Your mind is going in a million different directions and we get distracted. Oh, the joys of being a mama! I can see my Lizzie doing something like this. She is definately our challenge! So thankful Graham is OK!The Hall'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18222932441017162682noreply@blogger.com
